TOXIC fumes....NOT a good idea. Why not cut strips out of the plastic bags to make yarn, and knit the shape? This uses more of the material, and doesn't put chemicals in the air and your lungs.

Well the purpose of turning it inside out was so that the iron was ironing plastic, rather than ink.
So find some other bags that don't have logos, then keep your heartbreaker bag right side out, but sandwich it between 1-2 layers of the other plastic bags. So when you iron it, you will be ironing the plastic, and the ink will be sandwiched between the plastic on the inside and won't melt everywhere.
You might want to experiment with some other bags, but it should work.

I'm not sure if anyone else has already said this but plastic trash bags come with chemicals in them that kill germs and oders. They tell you not to store food in them. I'm not sure about plastic store bags but still there are dangerous chemicals. Enjoy the cancer :)

Nabooru1991, I may be wrong but aren't there two sides to a plastic bag, so folding a bag twice will result in 8 layers? If that is what she means. I just folded a plastic bag twice and counted the layers and got 8. But she did cut open the bag first before folding so --- I'm confused. :) LOL By the way trash bags are toxic and are not meant for food storage or storage of any kind. The chemicals are added purposly by the company for sanitation purposes.

Yeah, and how about we just stop using the plastic bags. Then we don't have to recycle them, because in all honesty. Your recycling, Eco-Friendly, tree hugging bullshit comes down to nothing! It wastes more energry to recycle and we're not running out of resources or having a terrible problem with landfills. i'll tell you one thing i'm not doing and that's doubling the waste I produce in a vain attempt to make something that looks like crap. what are you meant to do with the clipless bag? bin it? plus it was probably made by some kid in taiwan. just say no at the shop counter when offered these plastic bags or recycle them next time you go.

This so cool! I'm going to make a DS Case using this video. Also all of you recycle haters...SUCK COCK. These people are doing what they can to save OUR planet. What the fuck are you doing. NOTHING...thats what I thought. Also just about everything causes cancer so unless they are sniffing the plastic after they iron it I"m sure they will be fine.

haha...not using that backpack because he wants a messenger bag. yay! a new use for garbage bags that don't fit the trash cans. i must admit this idea's a good one to use those bags. just don't waste all that wax paper though. that was a lot used.
